In this world where many of our modes of communication are so impersonal, it’s becoming increasingly important to find ways to connect with people face-to-face. There’s something different about talking to someone in person and having actual, real-time conversations with them that aren’t happening through Facebook or limited to a scant 140 characters. That’s why you might want to consider hosting an event for your business. You need face time to help you build lasting relationships with people.

We know what you’re thinking.

“Not another social networking project! You’re killing us here, GLAD WORKS!”

We know you’re probably kind of sick of hearing “social media this” and “social media lalala,” but we would be remiss if we didn’t talk to you about how integrating a niche network into your social media mix might help you out. “Never be remiss” is our motto, among other things, so we have to mention it.

But what in the name of social media is a niche network? 

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes.

The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them.

About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They invent. They imagine. They heal. They explore. They create. They inspire. They push the human race forward.

Maybe they have to be crazy.

As you all know by now, Steve Jobs, the ultimate design-team leader and CEO at Apple, passed away yesterday at the young age of 56, leaving a tremendous legacy of countless innovations that have changed our lives forever. 

We were talking about multimedia marketing the other day at a team meeting when we realized that we should totally be telling you guys about multimedia marketing! Why didn’t we think of this sooner?
